Q: What made you go natural and how long have you been Natural? Did you transition or BC?
A: I wanted to see what my hair was like without chemicals. I had my last relaxer in 1999. You can say I transitioned for awhile. I wore my hair in extensions for about 7 months while I decided what I wanted to do with it. In November of 2000, I did a big chop and started locs. I did another big chop in 2005. Now I have loose hair.
Q: Favorite style:
A: My favorite style is the puff. It's easy, cute, and quick.
Q: What products do you currently use?
A: Right now I am using Oyin Handmade products.
Q: What words of encouragement do you have for those who are transitioning or for natural newbies?
A: -Be patient
-Don't compare your hair to anyone else's
-Research
-Find a support network
