Running a giveaway?

Giveaway Tools may seem slower than other competitors but that's because of the methods it uses to combat cheating requires processes and dependencies on third parties like Facebook and Twitter which require more time. However if the speed is an issue the verification methods can turned off by the widget owner.

When a widget is created it's owner can select whether they want the system to automatically generate a winner when the giveaway closes or allow the owner to do it themselves when they want to. If an entry generated as the winner which uses an entry-type that required verification the system double checks the user has not undone their action before selecting them as winner.

If the blog owner has told the system to not automatically generate a winner, once the giveaway has closed they can click a button to randomly generate a winner like the system would automatically do or they can manually select a specific winner. However if a specific winner is hand picked the widget will inform your readers that the winner was specifically selected.
