Leave time for stops! Make it about the going not just the destination. And it's ok to stop and buy something if they need it.

ReplyDeleteMake sure to have a baby carrier that can be easily packed. I use a kanga carrier. Fast, small and easy. Also bring a change of clothing or 2 always no matter what. I learnt my lesson a FEW times.

ReplyDeleteMy travel tip is to always repack your diaper bag when you come home from anywhere, that way you aren't doing it at the last minute where you might forget something you really need.

Hide away some of their favorite toys a week or two before... then bring them along for the traveling. They're so excited.

ReplyDeleteyou can never have too many wipes, burp cloths, bibs :) since I BF, I always bring a nursing cover.
ReplyDeleteI always pack some snack stuff in little bag, usually different types of cereal and cookies and then always have wipes, because no child is ever going to be completely clean lol

My travel tip is to fly rather than drive! If you do drive, make sure to be packed with snacks and toys!

toys, toys, toys, toys, toys, toys, toys. i do not believe in electronic (dvd or games ) in the car. even in the backseat they can distract the driver.
