The Novel

This book is a wonderful story of how two people who are quite opposite in their natures discover their own way of love. I love how the characters evolve as the book progresses. The transition of Clay Walsh from a reckless frat boy to a somber antique shop owner and then his transition again when he meets the free gypsy soul that Amber Hewson is, is beautifully portrayed. The book leaves you smiling at times, at times it will make you roll your eyes and sometimes it will just leave you with a very happy feeling of innocent unadulterated love. One thing that this book will surely do is teach you a little bit more about love than you already know. It will throw light on a fresh and different perspective to love, than how most of us modernists perceive it. With this wonderful and apt novelization of the movie, rediscover love.

The Devotional

This book is a devotional inspired by the movie: Old Fashioned. It is more like a 40 day guide to relationships. It has stories, advice, journal entries and gems of quotes. I really found the authors, Ten Commandments on dating, very useful. This book mainly describes the principles of a relationship from a Christian point of you. You can clearly compare the old fashioned way of love with our modern notions of so called love and find out for yourself, which one feels more real. This is one gem of a book and I recommend it to all those who want some food for thought and are open to different perspectives.

Is it Friday night? Are you tired from all week of work and want to just cuddle up in the arms of the one you love? Tired of the parties and just want to stay home and relax? Or are you having a sleepover with your besties and are in the mood for watching something romantic? I strongly suggest Old Fashioned. It is out on DVDs. You can pick up your copy for about 15$. The Elizabeth Roberts and Rik Swartzwelder Starrer is a romantic drama which will take you back to the days of old school love. It is a story of how, a former frat boy and a free-spirited woman together attempt the impossible: an “old-fashioned” courtship in contemporary America. The movie left me with a wonderful feeling and a deeper understanding about love. It made me realize that love should be patient, it takes time to bloom and even after that requires a lot of nurturing. The movie is a wonderful portrayal of how in the end it is those little loving, caring gestures that matter. It also beautifully describes how one must forget their past wounds, open the windows to love and move ahead. I watched this movie, all warm and cuddled up and with lots of ice-cream. This movie totally made my Friday night. I strongly recommend it to all you movie buffs and all you romantics out there. Go grab your DVD of love and make this weekend special with your loved one.

I Have Large Mouth With Full Lips:

Oh! Lucky you! Your lips are the natural envy of all women around! So, how do you work the lip gloss on your lips for a perfect finish? Apply liquid foundation makeup to the entire mouth, then outline with a dark shade of lipstick just inside the natural contours of the mouth. Then apply lipstick of a lighter shade carefully and accurately within this outline. Subdued shades work well for this kind of mouth. Use medium toned lip colors and avoid dark browns, plums, electric brights or pale shimmer shades.

I Have Full Upper Lip

Ah, to get a more even, symmetrical appearance, simply apply fluid foundation makeup to the upper lip. Outline just inside its natural contour and apply a dark shade of lipstick. Then outline the lower lip just outside its natural contour and emphasize by filling in with a lighter shade of lipstick.

I Have Full Lower Lip

Simply outline upper lip just outside its natural contour. Apply a light shade of lipstick and in the center add a touch of lip gloss. Apply fluid foundation makeup to the lower lip. Outline just inside its natural contour. Then fill in with a darker shade of lipstick, using a lip brush.

I Have Wide Mouth

You are a natural talker! Cover the corners of the mouth with foundation makeup or a cover stick. Apply lipstick with a lip brush, stopping a few millimeters before the corners of the mouth are reached.
